Patricia Eakins is a writer for whom teaching and learning are an integral part of her art. She is committed to the community of writers who enter her private fiction workshops.

She has enjoyed her adult creative-writing students at The New School and in her writer's-residency class in Woodstock, New York; her undergraduate fiction writers at Trinity College (Hartford, CT) and at NYU; and the architects and other design students in her writing-for-architecture-and-the-arts seminars at New York Institute of Technology. She is fully prepared to teach a wide range of workshops and classes.
